The purpose of the Band Program at Belle Chasse High School is to serve as a creative outlet for all students who wish to learn, practice, and perform music. At the same time, the band program gives back to the school through public performances both in the school and the community.

Southern Images Photography will be on campus on Thursday, January 24th. All students (including equipment managers) will take a headshot and a full length photo in band uniform with their instrument, in addition to a full band photo. 2018-2019 Band Officers


Blake Champagne

Drum Major
Blake is a Senior and a percussionist who serves as this year's Drum Major. Blake is planning to attend the US Naval Academy in Annapolis and pursue a career as a Naval Officer.

Madeliene Moss

Drum Captain
Madeliene is a Senior and a percussionist who serves as this year's Drum Captain. After high school, Madeliene plans to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to major in Percussion performance.

Joshua Chotto

Drum Lieutenant
Joshua is a Senior and a percussionist who serves as this year's Drum Lieutenant. Josh plans to enter the Air National Guard upon graduation, and will attend LSU where he will study chemical engineering and music.

Megan Schurr

Band Captain
Megan is a Senior who plays Clarinet. She serves as this year's Band Captain. Megan plans to attend Nunez Community College and would like to become a paramedic.

Justin Hochhalter

Woodwind Lieutenant
Justin is a Senior who plays Tenor Saxophone. He serves as this year's Woodwind Lieutenant. Justin would like to attend Nicholls State University to study secondary education. He plans to teach either chemistry or english.

William Smith

Brass Lieutenant
William is a Senior and Tuba player who serves as this year's Brass Lieutenant. Upon graduation, William plans to join the United States Marine Corps where he would like to serve as a Marine musician.
